Sometimes we may think that we’re not good enough, smart enough, pretty enough, young enough, strong enough, (fill in the blank) enough… but in those times, we need to tell our brains to shut up.
One of the worst things we can do is compare ourselves with other people. There is a fine line between using someone else’s achievements as motivation for yourself to do better and using someone else’s achievements as excuses for why you are less than.
Stop negative self-talk.
If you have goals that you have not started, think about what’s holding you back and how you can overcome.
One of my setbacks is fear – fear of failure and fear of what people might think or say. have to remind myself that life does not wait and I can’t waste time. I have to do what I say I want to do without analyzing possible outcomes.
I don’t know about you, but I do not want to look back and think “I wish I had tried.”
Get someone to hold you accountable if you can. Keep a journal with notes on your progress. Let’s start, and continue, to live out our dreams – no regrets.
